A Documentary on The Seldom Scene 02.02.2021

This is a clip from my Seldom Scene documentary in progress. In this clip, Mike Auldridge, Ben Eldridge, Tom Gray, and John Starling discuss playing at their first "park shows" or bluegrass festivals in 1972, not wearing "uniforms" like most other bluegrass bands of the day, about being different, and about being from the city and not from the country and the importance of that in their early success. https://vimeo.com/72235702/6fcc29d5ba

A Documentary on The Seldom Scene 16.01.2021

It's been way too long since I've made any posts on this page. I have been busy working on John Duffey's Bluegrass Life: Featuring The Country Gentlemen, Seldom... Scene and Washington, D.C. with co-author Stephen Moore and foreword by Tom Gray. Our book is available on Amazon today. Stay tuned for updates on the documentary very soon. I plan to get back to work on it as soon as I can. #Amazon
